OUR NATIVE HAWAIIAN BOTANICALS:

TAMANU OIL:  Due to its high glycolipids and phospholipids content, and its antioxidant properties it is great at rebuilding skin health.  Offers the skin regenerative properties.  It absorbs rapidly into the skin without any residual oiliness.  Traditionally, it used in other Polynesian cultures to help heal various skin ailments.

KUKUI NUT OIL:   Our wild-harvested kukui nut oil is from Maui.  Itʻs essence and mana (energy) offers balance for both oily and dry skin. It is loaded with Oleic acid and Linoleic acids, which helps to nourish the skin and our body.  Known to reduce inflammation, helps to regenerate skin cells and moisturize.  Traditionally, practitioners used the seed of the Kukui for various external and internal ailments.  It was widely mixed with other botanicals.

'ŌLENA (Turmeric):  A native Hawaiian ginger that was traditionally valued by Hawaiian lāʻau lāpaʻau (herbal medicine) practitioners as a blood cleanser and for other ailments. Primary benefits come from curcumin, an anti-inflammatory and antioxidant.  Known to help calm and restore skin. Our freshly cultivated ʻōlena is from Oʻahu.

OUR WILD-HARVESTED INGREDIENT:

KOKUM BUTTER:  We use unrefined Kokum butter to preserve its mana (energy) and healing properties. Traditionally, used in India to moisturize and nourish skin.  It's rich in essential fatty acids, vitamin E and has a uniform triglyceride composition to promote regeneration of skin.
